Life without insurance sucks!

If you have health insurance thank your lucky stars EVERY DAY. Without it life can just stink! So much worry and so little options for care.
I'm lucky enough that I have a pretty good job, bad thing is that it is not permanent nor do I get health benefits or sick days. I have been having horrible back and abdomen pain for over a week. I sucked it up after 3 days of pain and went to see my Dr. Now that's all fine and dandy if they can just give you an RX and wam bam, problem gone....no such luck. My Dr is pretty compassionate, but there is only so much they can do...I was on antibiotics and pain meds, well, done with the antibiotics and the issue continues. I break down again and see the doc today....which is a record for me cuz I pretty much have to be half dead to break down and make an appointment, much less 2 appointments in barely a week.
Ok another pee test and nothing is showing up....so more pain meds and an ultrasound next week.
So after thinking it was a uti or kidney stone we are headed in another direction. UGH.....at least the antibiotics were free! Yippee, hey gotta laugh don'tcha.
Enough babbling.....the meds have kicked in and I am probably not making much sense.
