Randomness

Hello fellow bloggers! I thought I've been mia for too long and thought I'd finally make a catch-up post...I plan on visiting a bunch of blogs in the next day or so too.

When was the last time you went to a concert? I haven't been to a concert in quite a few years, I think Jimmy Buffett was the last one, like 12 years ago!!! So guess who I'm going to see this November 18th!!! ???? !!!!! MADONNA that's who!!!!!! yayyyyyyy I am so geeked I can hardly stand it!!! The countdown begins!

I've taken a few photos lately so I'm going to share them with you...this one is a photo of what I've been eating this ENTIRE week, seriously ALL WEEK.I bought some Parmesan pepper bread from Nino Salvaggios (it's an international market down state) let me tell you this bread has some BITE...you can really taste the cracked black pepper, mmmmmm and the tomatoes came from my friend Karen's garden....mmm I simply love warm tomatoes freshly picked from the garden...then I switched it up a bit and had some of the bread with red and yellow cherry tomatoes! EVEN BETTER!Don't they look scrumptious!!!

K, the next photo I want to share is of my precious new great nieces, JaeLee is on the left, she's Brandy's baby and Maddie is on the right, she's Holly's babyI know I'm biased ... but I think they are ADORABLE!!!

And now I'll bore you with one more photo, we have a pair of hawks living in our neighborhood and we see them on the hunt every once in a while. Well they got a chickadee yesterday and proceeded to eat it right in our front yard...right outside of our big bay window, we didn't see the act, but here is the evidence!
and this is a photo not so close up and what I first noticed.
Egads! Ignore the weeds LOL

Hope all is well with my fellow bloggers. I'll be visiting your blogs very soon!!!

ciao

Hi Jayne! I've missed you!

Yes, I agree -- your nieces are ADORABLE!!! That picture is so cute -- like they're just hangin' out, chatting -- getting to know each other!

Those tomatoes are making me DROOL! (aren't you glad I shared that with you?? LOL). I love tomatoes and they look so darn yummy on that bread. Save me some, okay? I'll be right over! hee hee...

Oops -- forgot to say that feather picture is so sad! :(

However my two little ones would be THRILLED to find that stash in our yard! Rachel & Nick have been all about finding feathers lately, because I think we have some naughty stray cats around that are having birds for snacks while we sleep! Anyway -- the kids just love the feathers, not realizing that a poor bird was probably harmed in the process!

JaeLee and Maddie are adorable - even if you are a bit biased. I love the pictures of the tomatos - they are great pics, even if I wouldn't be caught dead actually eating a tomato! LOL! Poor chickadee - that's so sad. The least the hawks could do is to clean up after themselves!

Just popped by to see how you are. Sending you lots of hugs, and a few extra for those beauties!!

The girls are super adorable...those cheeks are something!!

Yay, MAdonna, love her. The last concert I was at was probably Brian Adams, over 23 years ago. Yikes, thats a long time.

Yummy tomatoes. Ours are finally turning red, so BLTs are on the menu for the next week.

Aww they are cute as can be. Mmm I had the first tomatoes of the season this weekend and today. Love making tomato sandwiches and that bread looks incredible.
