Remember this day!

I've been watching the Democratic National Convention and today when it was "official" that Barack Obama will be the first African American Presidential nominee I was literally full of goosebumps. It is so cool seeing history made. What a race this has been! First a female almost being the nominee, now this! I NEVER would have thought I would see this in my lifetime. I love this country.
It really is true...you can grow up to be anything you want to be. Never doubt that. Never let your kids doubt that!!!
Countdown to November!!!

Woo hoo! No matter who becomes President it'll be a first (first African American, oldest, or would-have-been first female), but I'm glad I'm around to see it as well.

So true isn't it Jayne. I remember watching him 4 years ago and thinking he could be our president. It was a very exciting and interesting convention to watch for sure.
