I have a friend who has been making Artisan Bread and I was intrigued about it. I am trying to eliminate white flour from my diet so I knew that wasn't for me. BUT the authors devised recipes for a healthier alternative using wheat flour: "Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day" This blog has the recipe if you don't want to invest in the book, but I do recommend getting the book as it has TONS of tips and recipes in it. Here is a loaf I made yesterday. It's whole wheat with sesame seeds on top. It's a heavyish bread, and this was the last loaf of my fridge batch so it has a bit of a sourdough flavor. Mighty tasty and super easy!
Now for todays rule:
RULE 19: If it came from a plant, eat it; if it was made in a plant, don't.
Pretty self explanatory, eliminate processed foods for better health.

Yay Joni! I'm glad you saw it...and my hero Michael Pollan. This show was the catalyst that made me convert to clean eating. His statistics just floor me.
mmmm yup the bread is yummy even tho it's healthy! LOL
