It's been 3 months since Barq's has gone to heaven and I miss him terribly. And now that Lucky has joined him the house is so very quiet, it doesn't feel like home without any furry people around.
I thought I would take a bit of time before getting a new buddy, but I find I am checking petfinder every day. I really miss the connection that Barq's and I had. No one will ever replace him but I can't live in the past, new memories are waiting to be had. And while petsitting my friends pups recently I realized how much furkids add to a household.
I have a friend who's friends Schnauzer just had 8 puppies!!! I want one so bad but I am having a hard time with the guilt of not getting a pound puppy or a rescue. UGH! Will the guilt go away? Maybe with the first wiff of puppy breath it might! LOL

Oh and plus the thought of me and Nancy having sister furkids again is fantabulous! Now how can I wait 4 weeks to meet these cuties!Yeah, I guess I've made up my mind and I hope I am making the right decision.....thanks for listening/reading.

Yes!!!! Congrats!!!! You're right...they do add so much to the family! They are cute lil buggers! When I had to put Commanche down, I waited a year and a half before we acquired Zeppy; but I was way overdue! I am sooooooo happy for you!!! Better start thinking of names! Are you getting a lil man or a lil lady? LOL
I waited eight years between dogs 'cuz the loss of the first one broke my heart so. Don't wait! You have lots of love to give a new pup. Kathy
Oh Jayne I didin't realize you guys lost Lucky too! You know we couldn't wait too long to get another furbaby after we lost Noelle cause it was just so empty. They don't replace them they just fill another spot in your heart. {{HUGS}}
I completely agree with you! I was very disappointed with the movie, it could have been so much more, but the crappy acting just ruined it. I am hoping that the actors get more experience before the second movie comes out and that it will be MUCH better than the first! The books were wonderful!
