Armchair shopping

Heehee...anyone else shopping for Christmas online? I'm sitting here waiting for the impending snow, shopping away.
What makes armchair shopping so easy you ask? Well, it's those emails with discount off codes and free s&h...they really are making my life much easier!

Along the lines of Christmas presents, what was your favorite childhood present? Mine has to be the EasyBake Oven, hands down. I LOVED that thing...I keep thinking I want one now LOL Do you remember it? It used a 100 watt light bulb and took 10 minutes to cook a teeny cake! Even renouned chef Bobby Flay wanted one, his dad objected saying it was a girls toy, but his Mom eventually caved and that was the beginning of his life as a chef!
I credit that oven, along with my Mom and favorite Auntie for my love of cooking/baking. I really miss them this time of the year. I can remember making cookies and other goodies with them every year. Boy I miss that sooooo much.

Well I'm off to do something...don't know what, but I'll think of something!

You're so darn organized it's scary! All I've done is my shopping for my secret Santa.

Yep, I did a bit of "armchair" shopping yesterday, so now I am nearly done, as I am buying very little this year - just call me Scrooge!! The Easy Bake oven seems to be a "hot" item this year, but I'm sure I saw a sign to say it had been recalled, perhaps just certain ones. Isn't it amazing how many toys from our childhood are making a comeback!
